PREEA – Exploring Careers in Eurasian Affairs

Please join Professionals in Russian, Eastern European, and Eurasian Affairs (PREEA) with the support of the Graduate Student Organization (GSO) and the Center for Eurasian, Russian and East European Studies (CERES) for a panel on “Careers in Eurasian Affairs” at 5:30 PM on Thursday, October 30, 2014 in the Mortara Center Conference Room. Panelists will discuss their careers and opportunities related to the political, economic, and business environment of Eurasia. Guests will have the opportunity to ask questions and gain insights from experienced professionals in the fields of consulting, political risk, international development, policy advocacy, and U.S. government service. Panelists will include professionals from the U.S. Department of Treasury, PwC, Chemonics International, and the Jamestown Foundation. There will be a brief networking reception following the panel. Regional food and refreshments will be served.

Hoya Circles Monthly Mixer October 2014: “Dear White People” Movie Outing

Please join Hoya Circles for our October Monthly Mixer on October 17! We will be going to see the new film “Dear White People.”

We will meet at 4:00 pm in ICC 3rd floor for a pre-film discussion. Afterwards we will walk from the ICC to AMC Loews Theatre in Georgetown for the 5:10 pm movie showing and later go out to eat at a restaurant in the area.

Hoya Circles will provide popcorn and snacks. Tickets must be purchased separately.
